Twice handed an empty office, twice left a department behind.
Six years across a natural-gas distributor in Athens, a car-rental company in Thessaloniki, a non-profit arts hub in a former brewery, and now a Greek collaboration studio. Two of those roles began with a function that did not exist: the Digital Marketing department at DiRent A Car in 2019, and the PR & Communications department at Fix In Art in 2023. Behind it, a Global MBA in International Business. Filter by department to read what each side of the work involved.
Establish the department first. Then run it.
At Fix In Art the PR & Communications department was established and then managed — messaging, sponsorship approaches, event communications, and a reconnection with the European networks the organisation had drifted from. At EDA Attikis, a natural-gas distributor in Athens, the work was the opposite shape: an existing corporate image to strengthen, with promotional campaigns coordinated across social media, radio, press and print, plus corporate meetings and internal communications. At Cotranspose the brief is collaboration itself — messaging and outreach built to bring partners and communities into shared projects.
Processes, ERP systems and a team of eleven.
At Fix In Art the operations half of the job meant improving legal, financial and administrative processes, developing ERP systems, and training and managing a team of eleven people while major events went out of the door. The habit started earlier: as assistant to the Sales Director at DiRent A Car in 2019, reporting systems were streamlined, a CRM was implemented in Excel, market reports tracked reservations, trends and profitability, and customer complaints were handled against standardised response templates.
Growth arrives as other people’s interest.
Development here has rarely been a sales pipeline. At Fix In Art it was sponsorships secured and European networks reconnected. At EDA Attikis it was partnerships and consultant engagement used to strengthen a utility’s public standing. At DiRent A Car it was influencers and media brought into promotional collaborations. At Cotranspose it is the whole remit: strategic communications built specifically to foster collaborations and partnerships, and to co-develop projects, workshops and exhibitions with them.
A digital marketing department, founded from nothing.
DiRent A Car had no digital marketing function until 2019, when one was founded and led: paid advertising and digital campaigns that lifted sales by roughly twenty per cent, and promotional collaborations with influencers and media. The same job arrived again at Fix In Art in 2023, where a digital marketing strategy was created and executed alongside the communications department. In between, freelance work for Deyanera and HighSociety M.IKE started further back still — a strategic plan and market evaluation first, then social media strategies, with branding aligned against what designers and developers could actually ship.

SHARED WORK — Several Fix In Art projects were delivered alongside Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou, whose own record is at portfolio.ellizg.com.
Five years of food rescue that never missed a week
A fixed weekly pickup from two donor branches to the community kitchen through Fix In Art’s partnership with Boroume, Greece’s leading food-rescue non-profit. Partnerships like this survive on reliability rather than ambition. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
Three international acts through the venue in a single year, with the parallel programme and catering around each show run as the venue’s own opportunity — the reason an audience arriving for a headline act came back the following month. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
Strategic communications developed and implemented to foster collaborations and partnerships. Messaging crafted and outreach managed to build community engagement, alongside project co-development, workshops, exhibitions and storytelling initiatives.
The Digital Marketing department founded and led. Sales raised by roughly twenty per cent through paid advertising and digital campaigns, with influencers and media brought into promotional collaborations.
Reporting systems streamlined and a CRM implemented in Excel to improve efficiency. Market reports produced to track reservations, trends and profitability; customer complaints handled against standardised response templates.
Promotional campaigns coordinated across social media, radio, press and print for a natural-gas distributor. Public image strengthened through partnerships and consultant engagement; corporate meetings and internal communications managed; course promotion and design supported with the education department.
Six unbroken years of EU-accredited youth programmes at Fix In Art — youth exchanges, training courses and volunteer hosting — with logistics and international travel, partner communication across EU countries, programme administration, budget tracking and EU reporting. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
Proposals
Wrote the funding proposals that brought the projects in — framing each one against the call it was applying to, and against Fix In Art’s own remit of art, community activism, sustainability and social inclusion.
Application process
Ran the applications end to end, through the European Youth Portal and with sending organisations in participants’ home countries, across both short-term Team Volunteering (2 to 4 weeks) and long-term Individual Volunteering of up to 12 months.
Coordination
Coordinated the volunteers on the ground and the four work pillars they were placed into: Artistic & Design, running installations, community festivals and creative workshops; Save the Food & Sustainability, rescuing surplus food from local markets; Gardening & Eco-Living, the ecological gardens, upcycling and permaculture tasks; and Media & Communication, the video, photography and social content documenting it.
Financial control
Held the budgets across concurrent projects — accommodation, food, comprehensive insurance and local transport for every participant, plus pocket money allowances and distance-based travel reimbursements calculated per country of origin.
Financial reports
Produced the financial reporting the European Commission requires against each grant, reconciling spend to the approved budget lines and keeping the organisation’s EU accreditation in good standing.
Who it reached
Young people aged 18 to 30 resident in EU member states or partner countries, hosted in a multicultural live-in community near Thessaloniki, with EU funding removing the financial barrier to taking part.
The PR & Communications department established and managed, and a digital marketing strategy created and executed. Legal, financial and administrative processes improved, ERP systems developed, a team of eleven trained and managed, sponsorships secured, major events organised, and European networks reconnected.
Built from zero in four months, staged over two days
The public culmination of SHAAG, a youth initiative on sexual health and gender equality: speakers with medical and scientific credentials, a fifteen-person international volunteer team, a curated photo exhibition and interactive programming with the LGBTQ+ collective — roughly 200 people a day at the Old FIX Brewery on a €1,000 total budget. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
FOOD-Y — an Erasmus+ KA220 cooperation partnership
An EU-funded partnership led by organisations in Sweden and Italy with Fix In Art as the Greek partner: materials translated into Greek and documents prepared for the local workshop in Epanomi. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
Strategic plan prepared and market evaluation implemented, then social media strategies designed and launched to raise engagement and customer interaction, with branding aligned to what designers and developers could execute.
Crowdfunding assessed and deferred against a 22–28 per cent success rate for cold SaaS campaigns versus 55–65 per cent with a warm audience of five hundred or more. Effort redirected to Dutch and EU innovation funding: WBSO as the time-critical near-term filing, NLnet through an open shared-component carve-out, and MIT Haalbaarheidsproject diarised for opening-day submission after the 2026 budget was oversubscribed on day one. Horizon Europe and ESF+ deprioritised as consortium-dependent.
A cinematic orbiting-sphere hero thrown out for speaking exactly the VC-SaaS language the brand exists to avoid, and reframed as an observatory-grade orbital model: the centre is the user’s own gravity, the orbiting nodes are postings being weighed, and the Match Gate is a meridian they must cross. Concept document, mood, composition and copy direction, with calm motion as the default and full motion the opt-in — because neurodivergent job seekers are one of three core audiences, not an accessibility footnote.
Positioning, pricing and the growth channel decision
Eighteen pages of market research — a feature matrix against eight competitors, audience deep dive and colour-psychology benchmark — establishing deliberation-first as an uncontested position. A four-tier price architecture from free to €49 a month, then stress-tested against investor questions and revised rather than defended: Year 1 expectations down roughly sixty per cent, with Coach Pro identified as the only tier with defensible unit economics. Paid acquisition assessed and rejected; organic-first instead.
Entity and regulatory groundwork for a Dutch software company: eenmanszaak retained until profitability so the gebruikelijk loon obligation is not triggered early, BTW and the KOR small-business exemption assessed, zelfstandigenaftrek and startersaftrek modelled, and a full Year 1 cost analysis run across tax, GDPR, the EU AI Act and Dutch business law under two revenue scenarios.
Partnership mapping and outreach for a pre-launch product with no social proof: Dutch career-professional associations approached as the Coach Pro channel, an outreach map built across relevant teams and programmes at prospective partners, and Web Summit declined for 2026 on the grounds that the buyer is not in the room and the product is not ready to be seen.
A research-first design system and the marketing site
Three reference documents directed rather than a template picked: typography across seven evaluated typefaces landing on Source Serif 4, Atkinson Hyperlegible and DM Sans Light; a twelve-token navy and antique-gold palette at WCAG AAA with warm white chosen over pure white; and a six-domain website guide covering UI, UX, SEO, performance, backend and analytics, which surfaced the pre-launch gaps. Rejected options documented as carefully as accepted ones.
Consultant — research, marketing site & funding strategy
Job searching offers almost no structural guidance, and least of all to neurodivergent people, career-switchers and anyone re-entering the market. Omoikane answers that with a private workspace that scores fit honestly before you apply. I built the research foundation — academic and diagnostic literature on neurodivergent experience — and the trilingual marketing site that carries it, together with the PR and go-to-market strategy. With my partners I work across the regulatory layer: GDPR documentation, the Dutch imprint, and a LinkedIn data-portability integration under the DMA. The product is in closed testing; pitch deck and funding applications are in preparation.
A partner network of ~80 organisations across 18 countries
The organisation is EU-accredited on the European Youth Portal and registered on SALTO-YOUTH. The partner database was kept sorted by field so partners could be matched to the right funding call. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
A human-rights film festival across a nine-NGO network
Four days and more than 3,000 competition entries, run by a nine-member NGO network coordinated by the Heinrich Böll Stiftung — one public message agreed by every organisation on the poster. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
Thessaloniki Animation Festival · Shared2016 / 2017 / 2019
Northern Greece's only animation festival
Around 3,000 film submissions and 2,500-plus visitors a year across those editions, with the full volunteer cycle behind it — recruitment, role matching, a training manual, shift schedules across stations, participation tracking and reporting to funders. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
Fix In Art is a member venue of Trans Europe Halles, the European network of independent cultural centres, and hosted its 98th Camp Meeting at its new home in Epanomi, Thessaloniki, on 10–13 October 2024. The meeting was titled Argatia, a Pontic word for the collective support an entire village gives when one person is in need, and its programme ran on three sub-themes: sharing generational wisdom, communal conditions for freedom and sustainability, and organising festivals as community building. Hosting covered the site itself, the ticketing tiers (member, non-member, youth and day passes), the travel and accommodation guidance for delegates arriving into a region with sparse public transport, and the on-site logistics across four days. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
TEH #98 "Argatia", Epanomi — via Trans Europe Halles
A historic 1888 venue with several stages live at once
Theatre, rehearsal spaces, exhibition halls, a library and a community kitchen, all programmed together — production liaison, budget and inventory spreadsheets, weekly schedules for the recurring strands, and the space-hire agreements used when partner organisations took the theatre. Delivered with Elli Zafeiridou Georgiadou.
