Privacy
I keep this simple, because there is not much to keep.
What is collected. When you load a page, the server hosting this site records a standard access log — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is how web servers work. It is used to keep the site running and secure, and for nothing else.
I use a self-hosted Umami instance to see which pages people read. It counts visits without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without building a profile of you. I can see that a page was read. I cannot see who read it.
Why. Server logs and security: my legitimate interest in a working, uncompromised site. Anything you send me deliberately: because you chose to send it.
Who else touches it. The site is served from private server infrastructure rather than a commercial hosting platform, and its access logs are used only for operation and security. The analytics run on a self-hosted Umami instance under my control. Email correspondence sits with my email provider. No data is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for tracking of any kind.
How long. Server logs are kept for the short retention period configured on that infrastructure. Correspondence I keep for as long as the conversation is useful, then delete.
Your rights. Under the GDPR you can ask me what data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Write to zafeiridis.george@icloud.com and I will respond within a month. If you think I have handled it badly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no tracker, no advertising pixel, and nothing following you to the next site you visit — which is also why there is no banner asking your permission for any of it.
The work shown here
The writing, structure and design of this site are mine, and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to quote or link to any of it with attribution. Republishing pages in full, or reusing the design, needs my permission first — zafeiridis.george@icloud.com.
The projects described are work I did for and with other organisations. Those organisations own their own brands, materials and results. They appear here as a record of what I worked on, not as endorsements of me, and their names and marks remain theirs. Where a project was collaborative, the collaboration is credited on the entry. Where a client’s information was confidential, it stays that way, which is why some figures here are given as ranges rather than exact numbers.
Photographs of events are published either because they were already public or because I have permission to use them. If you appear in an image here and would rather not, tell me and I will remove it. No explanation needed.

I have described past roles as accurately as I can, but this is a portfolio, not a certified record. Views expressed here are my own and not those of any current or former employer or client.
Links to other sites are offered as a convenience. What happens at the other end of them is not something I control or take responsibility for.
